This elegant Classic Collection necklace was hand fabricated by Designer Kimberly Arpaia in collaboration with Goldsmith Robert Lang. Each piece in the small one-off artisan collection took the Arpaia-Lang team days to weeks to make.

This necklace incorporates the Queen's link pattern. The thick, heavy handmade chain is 5/16 inches in diameter (over 1/4 inch). It is composed entirely of 1mm thick twisted wire rings, and each ring is fusion-welded closed for security. 

Part of the allure of an Arpaia® Classic Collection piece is its sumptuous feel. Fluid drizzle-like drape and smooth metal work ensure comfortable wear.

This necklace exudes a lovely golden champagne color. The core metal is solid 925 sterling silver. After fabrication, the necklace was heavily plated with 24K gold to exceed federal vermeil plating standards and guarantee the highest plating quality and metal finishing by using advanced technologies for optimal results.

The twisted rings have luxurious dual shiny-polished & matte-satin finishes that pair beautifully with the handmade 24K gold vermeil twisted wire wreath-motif toggle clasp. The round end of the toggle clasp is about 5/8-inch in diameter and the bar end is about 1-inch in length. 

Size: Small/Medium: This necklace measures approximately 16.75" in overall length (with clasp closed). The necklace's 8mm diameter (thickness) and the toggle clasp take up room around the neckline. As a result, it fits smaller than a regular flat chain of the same length. 

Sizing Comments: This necklace might be too small for some. For a proper fit, this necklace should not be snug even if worn as a choker. A toggle clasp necklace should be at least slightly slack around the neck. For sizing comparison, the model's measurement around the base of her neck is 13.75 inches.
